Job summary

The Community College of Denver (CCD) seeks qualified high school educators to serve as Concurrent Enrollment (CE) Instructors for Theatre Appreciation at the Auraria Campus in Denver. These roles require collaborating with CCD department chairs and CE staff to deliver college-level instruction to high school students while maintaining CCD standards.

Instructors must be employed by partner high schools, have strong classroom management, and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in theatre arts, writing for performance, theatrical design, or technology & management.
• At least three years full-time experience in the performing arts, craft, or entertainment trade.
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in theatre is acceptable per CCD guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver college-level instruction for Theatre Appreciation in a Concurrent Enrollment setting.
• Maintain CCD academic standards, learning outcomes, and assessment practices.
