Job summary

Faena Theater is seeking a Theater Technician to support the technical execution of performances, rehearsals, and events. You will assist in setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of audio, video, lighting, staging, and rigging systems to uphold luxury presentation standards.

The role requires detail-orientation, adaptability, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced live environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in theater, live entertainment, hospitality entertainment venues, or production environments preferred.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following areas required: Audio systems, Video systems, Stage lighting, Rigging equipment.
• Familiarity with theatrical terminology, stage lighting equipment, and backstage safety practices.
• Ability to understand, follow, and execute technical instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to work at heights and safely operate equipment in elevated positions when required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move for extended periods of time.
• Must be flexible to work long and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on production schedules.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while supporting live productions.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Theater Technician is responsible for supporting the technical execution of performances, events, rehearsals, and productions within the Faena Theater.
