Job summary

FAENA Theater is seeking a Theater Technician to support technical execution for performances, events, and rehearsals at the Faena Theater in Miami Beach. You will assist in setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of audio, video, lighting, staging, and rigging systems to meet luxury presentation standards.

The role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced live entertainment environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in theater or live entertainment preferred.
• Proficiency with audio/video/lighting tech and rigging.
• Familiar with backstage safety practices.
• Ability to work long hours including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown of theatrical tech equipment.
• Operate gear during live performances and rehearsals as assigned.
• Follow technical directions from production leadership and operators.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and properly maintained.
• Support stage changes, scenery movements, and backstage operations.
