Job summary

CAPA-Columbus Association for the Performing Arts is seeking a Concessions Barback to assist bartenders, stock bars, and keep the concession areas clean during performances.

You will arrive two hours before events to set up, support night-of-show tasks, and help with teardown and inventory. The role includes serving at the 4th floor bar, checking IDs, and upholding guest service standards, with a schedule that may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in guest relations or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
• Base pay for this role is $17/hour.
• Successful background check required.

Responsibilities

• Arrives two hours prior to performance to set up at the Concessions bars.
• Performs event set-up duties on night of performance, including stocking and coffee preparation and waste management.
• Performs tear down duties, restocks fridge, and takes inventory as requested.
• Serves patrons at the 4th floor bar and enforces alcohol procedures.
• Maintains guest service standards and resolves issues or escalates to supervision.
• Provides a minimum of 50% availability for monthly shift openings.
