Requirements

• US. Citizenship: Non-citizensmay only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
• Education: ADoctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
• Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty.
• Board Certification: Candidatesmust be board-certified or board-eligible in Urology. Must be eligible for academic appointment.
• Academic Affiliation: Atrium Wake Forest
