Job summary

The Inn At Rancho Santa Fe, a property managed by Evolution Hospitality, is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the operations of our stand-alone bar or restaurant and craft memorable guest experiences.

You will manage budgets, ensure top culinary and service standards, hire and train an exceptional team, and drive local marketing to build strong community buzz while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8–10 years of experience; licensing requirements apply.
• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with time management abilities.
• Proven guest service excellence and professional demeanor.
• Strong planning and communication skills for complex responsibilities.

The Restaurant General Manager is the mastermind behind the magic! You’ll be in charge of planning and orchestrating all the delicious action in our stand-alone bar or restaurant, making sure every detail runs smoothly. From leading the team to creating unforgettable moments for our guests, you’re at the heart of the fun—ensuring every bite, sip, and smile adds up to an extraordinary experience!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8–10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; must meet all licensing and certification requirements.
• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
• Deep understanding of industry practices, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, and proven time management abilities for self and team.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest service and contribute to business success through enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Effective in planning, problem-solving, and managing complex responsibilities with excellent communication skills.
