We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team at The Bar, Saint Kate's main social hub and cocktail destination, located in the heart of the hotel. The Bar is where creativity comes to life through inventive drinks, artistic energy, and genuine human connection. As a Bartender, you'll serve more than beverages—you'll serve as a key figure in creating a warm, inviting, and elevated guest experience. Recognized as one of Milwaukee's most unique and inspiring hotels, Saint Kate offers an environment driven by artistic spirit and exceptional service.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Craft and serve exceptional beverages with attention to detail, consistency, and presentation
2. Maintain expert-level knowledge of signature cocktails, wine list, beer selection, and spirits
3. Provide personalized service and build meaningful connections with guests
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking and side work
5. Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption in accordance with responsible service standards
6. Operate POS system efficiently and accurately handle transactions
7. Assist with inventory and supply ordering as needed
8. Support a positive and collaborative bar culture that reflects Saint Kate's artistic spirit

What We're Looking For:

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume or craft cocktail environment preferred
• Strong mixology skills with a passion for innovation and presentation
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy shifts
• Attention to cleanliness, detail, and safety
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A creative mindset and enthusiasm for being part of a hotel unlike any other
