Current staffing: 3 MDs and 12 CRNAs

• Low-Acuity Clinic (LAC).
• 2 mid-level providers deliver acute care to approximately 25 veterans per day during hours of 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.
• Ambulance Service consists of 4 Paramedics and 4 EMTs.
• Ambulance staffed with a Paramedic & EMT until 12:00 am Monday through Friday. Weekends staffed until 8:00 pm.

Practice Environment Description includes:

• Urology, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, GI/Endoscopy, ENT, Interventional Radiology offsite procedures.

Opportunity Highlights of this position include:

• Teaching Duke University SRNAs, Military SRNAs, and medical students from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).

Work Schedule / Tour of Duty & Call Coverage include:

• 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday
• Night call 1/3 nights with 3 MDs and 1/4 nights with 4 MDs. Currently, CRNAs handle first and second call, with MDs taking backup and some second calls.

Candidate Qualifications (Basic / Preferred) include:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• MD or DO with Anesthesiology ABA Board Certification.
