This position is responsible for routine daily operational tasks related to aquatic operations at the assigned park location under the supervision of the pool manager or head lifeguard. Established policies and procedures guide actions, but independent judgment is required when policies are unavailable, especially in areas of aquatic safety. The incumbent must exercise good judgment to make quick, concise, and correct decisions affecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of pool patrons and staff. The position reports to the Pool Manager and works under the supervision of the park manager, assistant park manager, and head lifeguards.

Minimum Requirements: Effective communication skills, customer service orientation, ability to follow procedures, Lifeguard License (required), Water Safety Instructor (desired), commitment to equity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Work primarily at park locations and outdoor aquatic facilities, including during summer months with sun exposure. Hours include holidays, weekends, and evenings. Occasional travel for training or activities.
