Job summary

Akima Logistics Services (ALS) is seeking a CONUS-Augmentation Field Engineer to support the THAAD Missile Defense System. The role involves deploying to KSA as needed, sustaining THAAD Fire Units, and coordinating maintenance and training with CLS personnel.

The candidate will work under supervision, cross-train across THAAD components, and support SICO activities from White Sands NM and KLOC operations from Huntsville AL.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years technician experience with field & sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• U.S citizenship and ability to obtain U.S. Passport.
• Active security clearance at SECRET level or higher and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deploy long-term to KSA THAAD sites as required by contract needs.
• Provide field and sustainment level maintenance support to KSA THAAD Fire Units.
• Support SICO tasks from White Sands Missile Range, NM.
• Manage and monitor maintenance and sustainment programs, including scheduling, upgrades, and modifications.
• Assist training of KSA maintainer/operators per CLS program.
• Perform maintenance actions and fault troubleshooting across software, hardware, cabling, electrical, and networks.
• Create and verify maintenance reports and actions.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Coordinate engineering reach-back and field service maintenance activities.
