Job summary

Akima Logistics Services (ALS) seeks a THAAD Field Engineer to support THAAD CLS operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will perform field and sustainment maintenance, assist training, and help resolve complex hardware and software issues for TFCC and launcher systems.

You will join a team providing ongoing maintenance, data collection, and deployment support in a demanding, austere environment while ensuring compliance with IETMs and TMs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Air Defense technician experience in field & sustainment operations.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
• Active security clearance at SECRET level or higher.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within five months.
• Must pass a background check and reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Provide field and sustainment level maintenance support to THAAD in KSA.
• Support maintenance program scheduling, system upgrades, and modifications.
• Perform complex troubleshooting covering software, hardware, cabling, electrical systems and networks.
• Create and close Maintenance Actions within designated timeframes.
• Assist in training KSA maintainers and operators per CLS program.
• Gather system data and support corrosion mitigation for TFCC and Launchers.
