Job summary

Akima seeks a CONUS-Augmentation Field Engineer to support THAAD TFCC and Launching Station operations. You will deploy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for surge or extended assignments, and support CONUS tasks in Saudi-related operations with CLS personnel. You will assist with SICO at White Sands NM and support KLOC in Huntsville, AL, including training KSA staff.

The role requires active SECRET clearance, U.S. citizenship, and readiness for austere environments.

Qualifications

3-5 years Air Defense technician experience with field & sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
U.S citizenship.
Able to obtain U.S. Passport.
Must possess an active security clearance SECRET level or higher.
Must pass a background check to include criminal and drug test.
Able to meet the requirements for residence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

Deploy to KSA THAAD sites as required.
Provide field and sustainment maintenance support to KSA THAAD Fire Units.
Support SICO from White Sands Missile Range, NM.
Manage and monitor maintenance and sustainment program including scheduling, upgrades, and modifications.
Assist in training KSA maintainer/operators per CLS training program.
Perform maintenance actions and fault troubleshooting including software, hardware, cabling, electrical systems, and networks.
Create, update and complete Maintenance Actions and verify maintenance reports.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Identify issues and assist engineers with design changes.
