Job Summary

• Describes anatomy/steps for surgeries

• Participates in development/implementation of educational programs for surgical technologist program
• Demonstrates the ability to perform surgical technology skills for all general and specialty based cases preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• Eligible for certification by Association of Surgical Technologists through the completion of a formal certificate or degree program in Surgical Technology or by meeting the Association of Surgical Technologists experience requirements
• One year experience as a Surgical Technologist or comparable position in an acute care setting required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years scrub experience in an operating room

Work Days

Full-time (40 hours per week) Days/Evenings/Nights based on operational needs with rotating weekends and holiday call required.
