Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Developer focused on System Management to support the FAA TFDM program. The role emphasizes integration, automation, and modernization of air traffic management systems in a federal context.

The selected candidate will work at our Gaithersburg, MD office three days per week with two days from a home office, and travel up to 25% for deployments to airports nationwide. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience in Software Engineering.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain System Management for TFDM to ensure seamless integration and functionality of air traffic management systems.
• Contribute to modernization and enhancement of TFDM and air traffic control operations.
• Collaborate across multiple sites and environments to support deployment at 89 airports.
• Travel up to 25% to airports across the country as TFDM is deployed.
