Job summary

LSSI in West Peoria, IL seeks licensed therapists to provide assessment and counseling to children, families, and groups, delivering individualized treatment plans and coordinating with Child Welfare staff.

Position requires a Master’s degree in counseling or social work, valid LCSW/LCPC/LMFT/LSW license, and at least 3 years post-graduate therapy experience; strong communication and documentation skills essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work required.
• Licensed as LCSW/LCPC/LMFT/LSW required.
• 3+ years post-graduate therapy experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of DSM-5/ICD-10 and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment of client’s therapeutic needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans engaging families and staff.
• Address safety, risk, and permanency planning within treatment.
• Provide direct counseling to individuals, families, and groups as per plan.
• Complete reports, documentation, and billing accurately and timely.
