Job summary

Town & Country Living is seeking a design-focused artist to create original artwork for customer lines, including brands and private labels. You will design prints, woven and embellished products and manage the design process from inspiration to production-ready tech packs.

The role requires expertise in printing processes, fabrics, and color theory, with strong proficiency in Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Collaboration with agents and factories worldwide is essential.

Qualifications

Experience cleaning files, producing repeats, color separation, and production-ready art.
Ability to research product trends for design and development.
Skilled in creating pattern repeats, layouts, and color sense.
Ability to work independently and in a team with strong communication.
Proficient in presenting concepts and preparing production-ready art files.
Proficient with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

Responsibilities

Create original artwork for customer product lines and private labels.
Design customer products for prints, woven and embellished categories.
Understand printing, fabrics, construction, sewing and embroidery terminology.
Manage design process from inspiration to production-ready tech packs.
Produce technical specs, die lines, prints, and color separations for factories.
Communicate with agents and overseas factories on design execution.
Participate in trend research and develop new design concepts.
Create trends and planograms for customer presentations.
Attend internal and customer meetings.
