Job summary

TWENTY2 WALLPAPER & TEXTILES, a high-end private label producer, is seeking an experienced Designer to join our in-house team. You will transform customer artwork into production-ready patterns, murals, and colorways, taking ownership of strikeoff color development and advising on aesthetics and materials.

You will balance creative work with technical prepress, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with the Projects Team to ensure on-time delivery and top quality across textile and wallpaper

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in textile, wallpaper, or surface design, incl. 1–2 years in production/prepress.
• Strong Photoshop masking and repeat pattern skills; proficient in Illustrator & InDesign.
• Experience with a Wacom tablet for detailed digital art.
• Solid color theory, print production, and screen-to-fabric translation.
• Excellent communicator and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop patterns, murals, and colorways from customer artwork.
• Create mockups, room renders, and presentation materials.
• Own strikeoff color development and ensure color matches.
• Perform color edits on orders for accuracy.
• Monitor prepress swatches for color accuracy and print clarity.
• Advise on aesthetics and material choices with the Projects Team.
• Check incoming files for production readiness.
• Estimate project scope and turnaround time.
• Mentor Production Designers and support hands-on design.
• Stay current on design trends and share insights.
