Job summary

Phillips Staffing is seeking a dedicated 1st shift Weaver for a leading Upstate manufacturer. You will observe safety procedures, adjust machines, and handle material changes to produce quality textile material.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and spoken directions are required. The role includes completing production records, raising safety and quality concerns promptly, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret specification sheets, quality requirements, and records accurately.
• Must be capable of constant standing, walking, and climbing.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety and security procedures and inspect area for hazards.
• Make machine adjustments within allowances to ensure quality material.
• Notify supervisor of machine malfunctions immediately.
• Assist in material changes including creel loading and reed drawing.
• Accurately complete production documentation.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Show initiative to meet goals and seek help when needed.
