Job summary

A home furnishing company is seeking a U.S.-based Textile Sourcing Manager to oversee the procurement of fabrics such as bedding and upholstery for its brands. The role involves evaluating suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring quality meets the design vision while respecting sustainability goals. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in sourcing textiles and strong negotiation skills. This is a full-time position based in New York City or Denver, offering a targeted compensation of $75,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fabric sourcing or procurement with a track record of managing supplier relationships.
• Deep knowledge of fabric types and production processes; ability to assess how raw materials affect quality, performance, and cost.
• Strong negotiation and contract-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select domestic and global suppliers for textiles.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure sourced fabrics meet requirements.
