Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Counter-Sorter to handle, count, sort and record incoming soiled textiles from customers. You will identify damaged textiles and transfer them to appropriate departments, reporting to the Production Manager.

The role emphasizes safety, PPE compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced industrial laundry setting. Responsibilities include opening bags, sorting by type/size/color, counting textiles, and logging data into sorting systems.

Responsibilities

• Open bag of soiled textiles, sort by type, size and color.
• Count textiles manually or electronically and transfer into sorting systems.
• Identify damaged or abused textiles and record into sorting systems.
• Follow PPE policies and safety standards for the position.
• Work in a team environment and support production flow.
