Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Houston, TX is seeking a Counter-Sorter to handle, count and sort incoming soiled textiles. You will identify damaged textiles and log results, reporting to the Production Manager.

A non-exempt, full-time role in a production environment requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and teamwork within an industrial laundry setting. Responsibilities include opening bags, sorting by type/size/color, counting textiles, and recording data.

Qualifications

• Sorting textiles by type, size and color
• Counting textiles manually or electronically
• Identify damaged or abused textiles and logging results
• Adhere to safety standards and PPE policies
