Job summary

SERVPRO of Allentown is seeking a Textile Processing Technician to join our disaster restoration team in Allentown, PA. You will operate Esporta wash systems, ozone chambers, and other equipment to decontaminate and restore damaged textiles.

You will manage inventory with ContentsTrack/barcoding, document custody, and assist field teams with pack-outs. The role requires attention to detail, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and a reliable driver.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience in dry cleaning, commercial laundry, fabric care, or restoration/contents cleaning is a plus (training provided).
Basic computer/tablet literacy for inventory logging.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and respectful care when handling personal property.
Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 40–50 lbs.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Textile Cleaning, Deodorization & Restoration: Inspect damaged textiles and apply restoration processes.
Inventory Management & Digital Tracking: Log, inventory, tag, and track items using tablet and inventory software.
On-Site Pack-Outs & Field Support: Assist field teams with pack-outs and prepare textiles for storage or delivery.
Warehouse Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a safe, organized warehouse and wear PPE as needed.
