Job summary

SERVPRO of Allentown is hiring a Textile Processing Technician to handle the cleaning, deodorization, and restoration of textiles and soft goods. You will operate commercial laundry equipment, manage digital tracking, and assist field teams from intake to delivery.

The role emphasizes careful handling of personal items, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols in a warehouse setting

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; training available for the right candidate.
Experience in dry cleaning, commercial laundry, fabric care, or restoration is a plus.
Basic computer/tablet literacy for inventory logging.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Inspect damaged fabrics to identify contamination and required restoration processes.
Operate Esporta wash systems, ozone chambers and ultrasonic cleaners to decontaminate and restore items.
Log and track items using inventory software; maintain chain-of-custody protocols.
Assist field teams with pack-outs and prepare items for storage or delivery.
