Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Production Associate to support the efficient production of textile baling and computer production, and processing other Secondary Markets materials. You will help meet customer needs while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment as needed, follow defined processes, keep records, and participate in continuous improvement to optimize material flow and productivity in a dynamic retail support facility.

Qualifications

• Stand or be stationary for long hours.
• Forklift usage up to 30% of the day; forklift certification may be required.
• Experience with machinery preferred but not required.
• Experience baling preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization of the assigned area to support efficient workflow.
• Follow defined processes for protection and usage of high value assets.
• Maintain inventory control and FIFO processes.
• Suggest improvements to material flow and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate supply needs to management and ensure product preparation meets standards.
• Secure freight inside trailers and meet productivity goals.
• Complete logs and reports and maintain accurate production records.
