Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring associates to help sort donations, tag clothing, and contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven team. You will work independently, stay organized, and meet production goals while providing friendly service.

Benefits include Paid Time Off, Pension Plan, Medical & Dental as well as tuition reimbursement; associates may work evenings and weekends with store hours 10am-8pm Mon-Sat and 11am on Sundays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Sorting clothing: must have an eye for quality and be able to consistently be alert to defects.
• Hanging and tagging clothing requires the ability to avoid distractions and focus on working efficiently and quickly.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment- taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
• Position may include cross-training in the following areas: Cash Register; Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.)
