Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary Regional Sales Manager for the Texas region (Houston/Austin/San Antonio). This field-based role leads District Sales Managers to drive profitable sales, execute the Royal Canin strategy, and engage stakeholders across clinics and distributors.

You will coach teams, optimize penetration, and travel up to 70% to meet objectives, with Mars providing development and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or Animal Science preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience working with leading multi- functional teams.
• Business acumen in Veterinary industry.
• People management experience in a mentoring/coaching or line manager role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record.
• Availability to travel 70% of time.

Responsibilities

• Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned region through leadership of District Sales Managers.
• Achieve product penetration and focus objectives within assigned region.
• Implement the Royal Canin Veterinary sales strategy and sales process within the assigned region; coach and develop District Managers.
• Develop a high-performance team collaboration environment through engagement of direct reports and growth.
• Respond to elevated customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions and company meetings; manage expenses and trade budgets.
• Become thoroughly indoctrinated and knowledgeable on the Veterinary product line and sales processes.
