Job summary

Egis is seeking a Transportation Design Lead to support the Texas market, with the role based in our TX offices in Houston, Austin or San Antonio. You will lead the transportation design team, manage client relationships, and drive project delivery across state agencies and regional authorities.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, business development, and collaboration with Marketing to achieve growth in the Texas market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Civil Engineering License in Texas required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Texas transportation design team, overseeing client service, business development, and project delivery.
• Review plans, calculations, and cost estimates for quality and compliance with standards.
• Develop and manage project schedules, scope, and budgets; guide staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events, building relationships with Texas agencies and partners.
