Job summary

E T C, a Houston-based premier AEC and infrastructure recruiting firm, seeks a Senior Project Manager – Transportation to lead highway projects across Texas. This role manages the full lifecycle—from planning and schematic design through PS&E and final delivery—ensuring quality, budget, and schedule performance.

The ideal candidate brings strong TxDOT experience, established public-sector relationships, and a proven ability to deliver complex transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Professional Engineer license in Texas is required
• 10+ years of progressive highway/roadway experience and TxDOT project delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead highway/roadway transportation projects across Texas from planning through PS&E
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for successful delivery
• Mentor engineering staff and lead multidisciplinary teams
• Develop proposals and maintain client relationships with TxDOT and municipalities
• Ensure QA/QC of project deliverables and regulatory compliance
