T. Baker Smith, LLC (TBS) seeks an accomplished Texas Survey Regional Leader to guide, strengthen, and grow our Survey operations across Texas.

This role reports to the Survey Discipline Leader and will drive people leadership, client development, and market expansion for Houston/Stafford and Corpus Christi markets, with future Texas locations in scope. The right candidate will be a respected Texas RPLS, with proven leadership abilities, a strong track record of growth, and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) is required.
• 15+ years of progressive Survey experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple teams, offices, practices, or operating groups.
• Proven success leading and developing managers and technical professionals.
• Strong knowledge of the Texas Survey market and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing project profitability, utilization, and resources.
• Demonstrated success developing strategic-client relationships and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Texas Survey Operations: manage leads, offices, groups, and teams; set performance expectations; recruit and retain top talent.
• Build & Grow Our Texas Survey Business: define growth strategy, strengthen client relationships, expand into new markets, recruit leadership.
• Drive Project & Operational Performance: ensure on-scope, on-time, on-budget delivery; promote profitability and resource planning.
• Champion Quality & Technical Excellence: QA/QC, uphold standards, ensure training and tools are available.
