Job summary

Rycon Construction seeks an experienced Superintendent for its Texas office to lead commercial construction projects from planning through completion. The role emphasizes supervision of subcontractors, adherence to budget and schedule, and strict safety compliance on site.

Ideal candidates bring at least five years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, finish trades), and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of construction supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and enforcement.
• Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate project schedules to plan activities.
• Coordinate daily activities for all subcontractors and ensure work follows design, budget, and schedule.
• Manage project budgets and submit invoices on time.
• Maintain daily site logs and report on conditions and progress.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed per OSHA and company policies.
• Schedule inspections and organize final inspections.
• Monitor quality and communicate project status to stakeholders.
