Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a dynamic, mid to established career scientist to advance Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia research strategy across Texas. This role leads, convenes, and connects universities, research institutions, hospitals, and partners to accelerate impactful research and implementation of DPRIT priorities in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association.

Qualifications

• PhD in neuroscience, public health, biomedical sciences, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of research, clinical research, or research administration in neurosciences.
• Proven ability to build partnerships and lead cross‑organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies aligned with DPRIT and Association priorities.
• Convene and participate in cross‑sector meetings to advance collaborative opportunities across Texas.
• Provide scientific insight to inform strategy, funding priorities, and program design.
• Represent the Association at statewide conferences and institutions.
