Resource Monitor is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to launch and lead the Texas market for its water-management platform. You will prospect, develop, and close new opportunities across municipal and rural water systems, selling to boards, general managers, and elected officials.

You’ll own the pipeline and build trusted relationships in a large, underserved market. You will work directly with founders in a fast-moving startup, shaping the company’s presence in Texas, earning equity, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B field sales experience with a territory you built yourself
• Experience with long, relationship-driven sales cycles involving boards, elected officials, or public procurement
• Ability to earn referrals and build trust across diverse stakeholders
• Self-directed, autonomous and motivated to create momentum from day one
• Based in Texas with willingness to travel extensively (≥50%)

Responsabilités

• Prospect and close new business across Texas rural water utilities and related districts
• Sell directly to general managers, boards, and elected officials, adapting to governance and funding paths
• Develop relationships with industry associations and referral networks
• Manage full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed contract
• Own the pipeline in HubSpot with accurate forecasting
• Represent Resource Monitor at Texas trade shows and events
• Report progress to senior leadership on pipeline and outcomes
