Position Summary:

Position Summary: Our campus has an immediate opening for a Music Teacher. This position provides a student-centered education for the student and teacher, as well as a supportive classroom that promotes compassion and tolerance, emotional security, resourcefulness, and independent critical thinking while addressing the individual academic and emotional needs of each student through Fusion's differentiated approach to teaching and education.

Pay Range: $26.00 per hour USD

Key Responsibilities Include

• Provide a one-to-one teaching experience in music creation, audio recording, music production, and traditional musical instruction at grade levels 6-12, with 70% focus on musical creativity through music technology.
• Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction for all students and a classroom forum for holistic growth.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Develop and maintain genuine, positive, and consistent communication with parents.
• Contribute to and benefit from the campus community.
• Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection, and continuous improvement.
• Include significant student mentoring alongside subject matter tutoring and teaching.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Solid experience in musical creativity, music technology, and instrumental performance.
• Proficiency with digital audio tools, MIDI, virtual instruments, and mixing.
• Experience with at least two of the industry-standard DAWs: ProTools, Logic, Ableton Live.
• Desirable skills include vocal pedagogy, bass, music theory, history, and multimedia audio.
• Teaching credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD is a plus.
• Outgoing, well-organized, computer-savvy, and eager to work in a dynamic school setting.
• Prepared to teach and tutor high school level material immediately.
