Job summary

Cash Construction is hiring a Superintendent to oversee field construction activities at sites in Texas, including earthwork, utilities, base and paving. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and quality delivery, with relocation assistance and a strong bonus plan.

Onsite at the Austin/Pflugerville area with potential hybrid options after a performance evaluation period. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of superintendent experience, OSHA 30, trench safety knowledge, and CPR/First

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent.
• Valid and active OSHA 30.
• Trench Safety and Excavation certification preferred.
• CPR / First Aid certification preferred.
• Computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to field construction personnel.
• Daily/weekly scheduling of field personnel and construction operations.
• Active role in assuring productive work occurs in a safe and quality manner.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of project plans and specifications.
• Identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions.
• Manage job material logistics, placement and deliveries to ensure workflow in operating at optimum efficiency.
• Maintain daily paperwork (as-built drawings, timecards, test reports, e-mail correspondence, etc.).
• Communicate and collaborate with wide range of individuals, including field staff, management, suppliers/vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor and manage employee attendance, ensuring timely arrival and participation of all crew members, and notifying employees of rain days.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees/subcontractors to adopt safety as a culture.
• Review safe work plans/hazard assessments with crew prior to job commencement.
• Work with Safety Department to investigate damage, incidents or near misses in the worksite, and ensure proper procedures are carried out.
