Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Texas is seeking an experienced Electrical and/or I&C / SCADA Engineer to lead the electrical design for municipal and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Texas PE license. Responsibilities include coordinating with various engineering disciplines, developing control philosophies, and ensuring project quality via QA/QC standards. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Texas PE license required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with industrial controls and networking systems.
• Ability to work cross-discipline and face clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for MV/LV power systems.
• Develop and review engineering studies and reports.
• Coordinate electrical scope with other teams.

Skills

Electrical design for MV/LV power systems

Experience with power distribution systems

Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, HMI

Strong communication skills

Education
