The Jonus Group is seeking a Contract Surety Underwriter in Texas to evaluate and underwrite new and renewal surety business, while building strong agency and client relationships. You will analyze financial statements, WIP schedules, bank agreements, and credit reports to assess risk and support profitable growth across the region.

In this hybrid Texas role, you’ll stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes, delivering timely underwriting decisions and providing exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of surety underwriting, credit analysis, banking, or related financial experience.
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review financial information and assess risk quality.
