Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney in Austin, TX with 3–6 years of civil litigation experience. The role involves case strategy, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation with direct client contact and mentorship from experienced attorneys.

Candidates must hold a JD, be licensed in Texas, and demonstrate strong research, analytical, and writing skills, plus experience drafting litigation documents and managing deadlines under pressure.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas.
• 3–6 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience drafting litigation documents and managing deadlines under pressure.
• Experience with hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, or trial preparation preferred.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and providing practical, business-minded advice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and clients on litigation and transactional matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, contracts, liens, deeds, and settlement documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis and recommendations.
• Manage competing deadlines and take ownership of assigned matters.
