Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading firm in Austin, TX to hire an experienced Civil Litigation Associate. This hybrid, full‑time role offers the chance to handle a broad range of Texas civil matters, work closely with senior attorneys, and gain hands‑on litigation, client, and courtroom experience.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, active Texas bar admission, and a proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, with deposition/hearing/trial

Qualifications

• Active Texas bar admission is required.
• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and client communications.
• Deposition, hearing, mediation, or trial preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, deadlines, and next steps.
• Work closely with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical legal analysis.
• Assist with real estate, construction, business, contract, employment, defamation, landlord/tenant, and general civil litigation matters.
• Support the growth of The Staff Pad's Texas litigation practice.
• Maintain deadlines, organize case materials, and move matters forward efficiently.
