Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Texas to lead nursing operations at a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ADON will work under the Director of Nurses, assisting in supervision, staffing, orientation, and administration of nursing services.

Responsibilities include overseeing nursing personnel, reviewing resident records, investigating incidents, and reporting to the Director.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and assessment skills.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or LVN program.
• Current RN license in Texas (RN preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong health status and flexibility.
• Proven leadership and ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and county nursing facility laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nurses with supervision and staffing.
• Provide leadership and oversight in personnel, orientation, and supervision.
• Monitor residents' records and incident reports.
• Investigate unusual occurrences or abuse, notify Director promptly.
• Ensure resident rights are protected.
