Panelmatic is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Testing Technician, REL/ICP to join our Houston team. This role focuses on testing and validation of protective relay systems (REL) and industrial control panels (ICP), ensuring proper functionality, safety, and compliance prior to shipment.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with relay testing, control systems, and electrical troubleshooting, along with the ability to interpret complex schematics and interface with engineering teams and customers during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Power Systems, or related field
Experience with SEL relays and AcSELerator QuickSet software
Knowledge of power distribution systems and switchgear integration
Experience performing FAT with customers and cross-functional teams
Familiarity with SCADA systems and networked control architectures
NFPA 70E certification or formal electrical safety training
Experience with hazardous location panels (Class I Div 1/2) is a plus
