Overview




Element has an opportunity for an Electrical Test Technician at our Kokomo, IN lab. Element Kokomo is an industry-leading provider of testing and inspection services for the automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries.






Responsibilities




    Setup and conduct product electrical tests per technical specifications
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Monitor test progress to meet scheduled milestones
  • Accurately record test results/documentation and write final reports
  • Acquire knowledge and proficiency in the use of general and specialized laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation
  • Prepare test samples
  • Perform tests using OEM and International Specifications
  • Perform standard engineering test measurements
  • Record test data and product performance
  • Prepare test reports





Skills / Qualifications




  • Minimum of a two-year associate degree in electrical/electronic discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Must have an aptitude for electrical or electronic technology
  • Basic understanding and ability to read technical specifications
  • Effectively works with others
  • Use of Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical ability to aid in problem resolution and troubleshooting
  • Understands the capabilities and application of basic laboratory instrumentation
  • Must be able to work 1st shift 7am-3:30pm-Monday-Friday
