Responsible for providing all services offered by the TestingCenter including but not limited to administering testing placementexams, instructor exams, adult education exams, various industrybased credentials, other professional level exams, providingtesting accommodations, processing test results, updating recordswith official scores, maintaining testing files, preparingstatistical reports, and providing information related to theeffectiveness of the testing instruments currently used. Alsoresponsible for creating and maintaining an environment conduciveto testing that is focused on student success and excellentcustomer service.
Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for helping to provide all services offered by theTesting Center established by BRCC for testing and assessmentincluding but not limited to administering testing, processing testresults, updating records with official scores, maintaining testingfiles, assisting preparing statistical reports, and providinginformation related to the effectiveness of the testing instrumentscurrently used.
- Administer all current and future exams offered by the TestingCenter in a computer-based Testing Center and be able to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with examadministration.
- Maintain efficient operations to meet the academic supportneeds of students including traditional and adult learners.
- Collaborate with Testing Center staff to provide effectiveplanning, delivery and evaluation of academic support servicesprovided by the Testing Center.
- Serve as liaison in communication with faculty, staff andstudents.
- Provide exams on a flexible basis including evening and weekendtesting.

- Develop and maintain relationships with testing partners.Maintain testing certifications and be familiar with all computerbased and paper-based testing procedures to administer exams.
- Contribute recommendations for improved operations, services,and programs.
- Ensure that equipment and furniture is conducive totesting.

- Provide accommodated testing for all exams offered.

- Conduct research of best practices and of Testing Centeruse.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
- Two (2) years of professional-level experience providingcustomer service.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Advanced
- Ability to accurately score test items
- Ability to understand tests and assessment administrationprocedures
- Ability to understand and communicate policies, procedures, andregulations to varying level of BRCC faculty, staff andstudents/prospective students from various socio-economicbackgrounds
- Written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidentialsituations (demonstrates poise, tact, and diplomacy)
- Working knowledge of and proficiency with a variety of computerword processing, spreadsheet, database software applications,ability to learn multiple computer-based testing platforms, andtroubleshoot technical issues when administering exams.

Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction,Higher Education Leadership, or Educational Psychology.
Preferred Experience
- Two (2) years or more of professional level experience in acollege testing center or academic support unit (i.e. academicadvising, tutoring center, onboarding center)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, &Abilities
- Previous experience working a computer-based Testing Centerwith the ability to utilize multiple computer-based deliverysystems.
- Previous experience troubleshooting technical issues withcomputer systems.
