Job summary

Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is seeking a Testing Specialist to support the Testing Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Responsibilities include administering placement exams, instructor exams, adult education exams, and industry credentials, and providing testing accommodations and result processing.

You will maintain testing records, generate reports, and ensure a secure, customer‑focused testing environment that promotes student success and excellent service to faculty and students.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Two years of professional-level customer service experience.
• Ability to score tests accurately and maintain records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse users.

Responsibilities

• Administer exams (placement, instructor, adult education, industry credentials).
• Provide testing accommodations and process results accurately.
• Update official scores and maintain testing files and records.
• Prepare statistical reports on testing outcomes.
• Support an environment focused on student success and customer service.
• Coordinate with faculty and students; schedule exams as needed.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in a computer-based testing setting.
