Job summary

Aspen Publishing is seeking a Manager of Testing & Psychometrics to lead innovative psychometric work for the JD-Next suite, including an online course and high-stakes admissions test. You will partner with law school deans and directors to ensure fairness, validity, and actionable insights for students.

The role oversees complex projects, mentors staff, and collaborates across departments. Remote/hybrid options are available for the right candidate; Burlington, MA office preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Educational Measurement or Psychometrics with strong statistics.
• 7+ years of work experience in testing or assessment.
• Experience with external clients in education is a plus.
• Proficiency in R and Python for psychometric analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex testing and psychometrics projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure test security, validity, and fairness for JD-Next products.
• Perform psychometric evaluations and data analyses.
• Manage test results data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with assessment team on form design and test development.
• Lead ABA Standard 509 reporting compliance and external/internal reporting.
• Mentor staff and communicate technical issues to stakeholders.
• Travel as required for the role.
