Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced QA/Test Automation professional for an on-site role in Plano, TX. You will lead validation of ETL processes, perform complex SQL data checks across Oracle and SQL Server, and drive automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright within an Agile framework.

Ideal candidates have 8-10 years in software testing, strong data warehousing knowledge, and experience with Jira/Micro Focus Octane for test management.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with complex SQL queries (Oracle & SQL Server).
• Experience validating ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver/Playwright for automation.
• Familiarity with Jira and Micro Focus Octane for test management.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Primary Skill: ETL/DB – Oracle & SQL Server, Selenium webdriver/Playwright

Secondary: ETL

Experience: 8 to 10 years

Roles & Responsibilities

(Minimum 5 years)

• Total Experience: 8-10 years in software testing and quality engineering
• Strong hands-on experience (Design, model, develop) with complex SQL queries Oracle & SQL server
• Strong expertise in validating the data extraction, transformation and loading process
• Excellent proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of Bitbucket-JIRA
• Able to support for DB test automation
• Automation Testing: Hands-on exp with Selenium WebDriver/Playwright
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Jira and Micro Focus Octane for test management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Banking/Finance domain knowledge and experience will be considered a strong advantage

Salary Range: $85,000- 120,000 a year
