Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Manager of Testing and Commissioning to oversee project testing and commissioning activities. You will lead a team, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure installations meet specifications and standards.

Responsibilities include planning, procedures, site testing, and reporting. Travel to project sites is required; PE licensure is a plus, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in power utility projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSEE/BSEET/Mechanical) with NETA Accreditation.
• 10+ years in testing and commissioning, preferably in power utilities.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards (NETA, IEEE) and field procedures.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing and commissioning team across projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for integration.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans and schedules.
• Prepare test procedures, reports, and witness testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues during testing and commissioning.
• Provide technical support to team and clients, and report progress to management.
• Continuously improve testing and commissioning processes.
