Job summary

College of Southern Nevada (CSN) seeks a friendly, detail-oriented student to join the Testing Center team in Henderson for Fall 2026. You will assist with administering and proctoring exams, greet students and instructors, and help with front desk duties and scheduling in Greymatter and RegisterBlast.

Applicants must be CSN Work Study eligible, have strong verbal communication, reliability, and the ability to work up to 20 hours per week.

• Strong verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to effectively engage with and support CSN's diverse and multicultural community.
• Legible handwriting.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will work with the testing center staff to administer, give instructions and setup various exams
• Proctoring (monitoring) students during the exam
• Candidates will assist the front desk greeting and welcoming students, instructors, and local community guests
• Maintain logbooks and files associated with testing
• Access and use the Greymatter system and RegisterBlast for student tracking and appointments
• Answering questions in person and on the phone regarding testing center services and other CSN department information
• Additional duties as assigned for opening and closing procedures
