Dual Temp Company, Inc. in Allentown, PA seeks a Testing & Balancing Technician to measure and balance air and water flows in commercial HVAC systems, following design specs. You will prepare clear reports on tested conditions and note deficiencies.

The role reports to our field team and requires a practical, detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills. Pay rate ranges from $32 to $42 per hour, depending on experience and credentials, with opportunities for professional training

Formación

• 3 years of field experience in construction or service industry.
• Proficiency in basic math.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• NEBB Certification is highly desired.

About the Role

Testing and balancing (TAB) involves taking air and water measurements in commercial HVAC systems and adjusting flows to achieve optimum performance of the building's equipment. Balancing is typically based on design flow values provided by a mechanical engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for executing this process and submitting written reports that summarize the testing and balancing work while noting any system deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct testing using technical meters and instruments.
• Adjust and balance system components to meet design specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Record test results accurately.

Qualifications & Traits

• 3 years of experience in the construction or service industry.
• Proficiency in basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Strong work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Certifications: NEBB Certification is highly desired, but we are open to speaking with all interested parties who possess relevant industry experience.
