Job summary

Envato is seeking a Product Design Lead to head the design function within the Content Team, managing a team of 3-4 designers focused on research, UX, and design.

You will collaborate across the Content Team and with technology, operations, and commercial stakeholders to advocate for user-centered decisions that balance internal users, Authors, and business goals. Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, you will help shape a coherent, delightful experience across products.

The Role

As Product Design Lead, you will lead the design function within the Content Team of Envato, managing a team of 3-4 designers focused on research, UX and design. Our Content Team is dedicated to working closely with a large, global and diverse group of contributors (we call them “Authors”) who earn on our platform through licensing their creative digital assets to Envato’s global customer base.

Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, you are a senior leader amongst a community of designers in the organisation, and an active member of the Content leadership team. You are the voice for internal users of our systems and Authors, advocating for a user centred approach to decision making to achieve a balance between the needs of our internal users and external contributors, and our business goals and company vision. The role and team work collaboratively with technology, operational and commercial stakeholders within the Content Team and across the organisation.
