Job summary

Valeo invites applications for a Test Tools Engineering Intern to join the System Development organization. You will collaborate with Tool Developers to document concepts, set up development stations, and help automate test scripts in a hands-on internship role.

Current students or recent graduates in engineering or computer science fields will gain practical experience with tool development, HW procurement, and debugging, in a global, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field OR Recent Graduate.
• Technical level skills in Electronics and/or computer science topics.

Responsibilities

• Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in documenting Test Tool Concept.
• Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in the definition of Test Tool Concept.
• Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in the development of test automation scripts.
• Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in HW procurement process.
• Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in Tool acceptance assessment.
• Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in Set-Up of Tool Development stations.
• Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in debug / troubleshooting of Tool Development stations.
• Creates documentation of tools.
• Back up documentation and test scripts following Valeo standards (SVN).
• Continuous identification of areas for improvement.

Seeking a current student or recent graduate to start as soon as possible and work on a year-round basis.

What You Should Have

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field OR Recent Graduate. Technical level skills of Electronics and/or computer science topics. Desire to learn/acquire test tool development process skills Passion for new technologies
